Orissa High Court in Ugrasen Sahu vs. State of Odisha and Ors. W.P. No. 12015/2022, On May 27, 2022, while rejecting the request of employee to change the date of birth wrongly recoded in employee’s service book placed reliance on various Supreme Court judgements wherein the Court had observed that the employees should not be permitted to change the date of birth at the fag end of their service career.
