Jio-bp has appointed Sareeta Bhatikar as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
She has confirmed this development through a social media post by stating, “After 6 fulfilling years at HDFC Life, I am delighted to start my new chapter as the CHRO at Jio-bp. My stint at HDFC Life has been filled with experiences and learnings, and relationships that I will always cherish. As I step into my new role, what excites me the most is the bold and ambitious vision with which Jio-bp is “reimagining and revolutionising mobility” in India.

Before this appointment, Sarita was associated with HDFC Life as Head of Human Resources.
With 24 years of global and cross-industry HR leadership experience, Sarita has led human capital strategy at scale, steering complex mergers, large-scale transformations, and multi-country operations across various industries, including Insurance, Pharma, Telecom, IT, Shipping, and FMCG.
She brings a rare blend of executional excellence and strategic foresight, having shaped people agendas for 40,000+ employees and led HR COEs spanning Talent, DEI, HR Tech, and Shared Services. From architecting the industry’s first Exide Life–HDFC Life merger, launching inclusive hiring models, to building in-house insure-tech capabilities and global HR systems, I have delivered where transformation meets trust.
Sarita has also worked with Vodafone, A.P. Moller–Maersk, Unilever, and LTI (Larsen & Toubro Infotech).
