The pandemic-induced work from home definitely brought upon a perception shift on how the workplace should look like. Individuals and organizations were prompted to recognize the viability and benefits of alternative work arrangements beyond the traditional office environment. Several organizations continue to employ the remote working culture even after the pandemic. A working paper from National bureau of economic research reported that the work-from-home scenario is economical for both employees and employers in terms of time and finances. However, working from home can be both monotonous and distracting.
