In 1945, he did BT from Teachers’ Training College, Ajmer. Earlier bachelor’s education used to be done through BT. In 1956, he completed his PhD for which he also got a UGC scholarship. In 1962, he joined the National Institute of Basic Education in New Delhi, where he worked for 2 years.
