Uno Minda has appointed Garima Garg as GroupChief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Garima Garg, who officially stepped into the role in September 2025, succeeds Rakesh Mehta, who stepped down on August 27, 2025.
She has confirmed this development through a social media post.
Prior to this appointment, Garima was associated with ReNew Manufacturing as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

With 2 decades of broad and deep HRexperience across sectors such as energy, manufacturing, automotive, industrial goods, cement, BFSI, technology, consumer durables, FMCG, she has worked with multiple organizations, establishing and scaling up the maturity of HR systems and processes to support organizations’ growth. She is highly business-focused, brings in strong business partnering capability, and spearheads the people and talent agenda to support business growth. She is leading talent fulfilment strategies for high-growth organizations, including recruitment, talent succession, Hipo pool management, performance management, talent development and talent retention.
Garima is a leadership development professional with rich and diverse experience in leadership assessments and development for senior leaders. Management of large, distributed onroll and contract workforce across EPC and O&M sites.
Garima has also worked with Deloitte, Korn Ferry Hay Group, PwC, HSBC and GENPACT.
