Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. has announced that Sanjay Sharma, currently serving as Global Head of Operations and a Senior Management Personnel, will take on the additional responsibilities of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) effective 1 December 2025, according to media reports.
The appointment comes following the resignation of Archana Bhaskar from the CHRO role, which will be effective at the close of business on 30 November 2025.
Dr. Reddy’s Board of Directors, acting on the recommendation of its Nomination, Governance and Compensation Committee, made the decision at its meeting held on 24 October 2025.
Sharma, a transformational leader brings nearly 34 years of experience in the FMCG and pharmaceutical sectors, with a background spanning manufacturing, supply chain, sales, ESG and business transformation across both emerging and developed markets.

He has expertise in Leading Business Transformation, Building a Consumer Centric Supply Chain, Exponential Scale expansion in a Complex environment, Building a Culture of Continuous Improvement through Operational Excellence, Institutionalizing Systems & Processes in a Scale & Growth Environment, Packaging Innovation & Commercialization, Talent Management & building Organization Capabilities, Long Term Infrastructure Planning, Greenfield Projects, Handling Multi-Site Global Supply Chain Operation (Demand & Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics & Last Mile Distribution), Earning the Social License – Integrating Sustainability & CSR into Business Strategy.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
He has also served Hindustan Coca Cola and United Breweries.
