Britannia Industries Limited has announced the appointment of Srinivas Maruthi Patnam as VP-HR following the resignation of VP HR Ritesh Rana effective May 15, 2026, due to personal reasons.
The company informed stock exchanges about these developments on April 17, 2026, in compliance with SEBI listing regulations.
Patnam will initially serve as Vice President – Human Resources (Designate) from April 21, 2026, before assuming the full role from May 16, 2026.
Patnam brings 26 years of extensive experience to Britannia Industries, having served as Vice President & HR Head for Procter & Gamble’s India business for 8 years. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in organization redesign and capability building to support business growth. He has also worked with Gillette. His geographic exposure has been to China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Japan, and Korea including India.
Patnam is a recognised HR leader with multiple industry accolades.
Patnam holds a degree in Electronics Engineering from Nagpur University and is an alumnus of Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM), Pune.
