Ashok Leyland Limited, the flagship company of the Hinduja Group, has announced the appointment of Jasmeet Bhatia as President & Head – Human Resources, effective January 27, 2026.
The appointment marks a key leadership transition in the company’s human resources function. Bhatia succeeds Raja Radhakrishnan, who has been serving as President & Head – HR. Radhakrishnan will now take on the responsibility of overseeing Special Projects within Ashok Leyland and across the wider Hinduja Group.
According to the regulatory filing, Jasmeet Bhatia brings over 25 years of rich experience in the human resources domain. He holds an MBA in Human Resources from the Management Development Institute (MDI) and a Bachelor of Science in Computers from Delhi University.

Bhatia’s professional expertise spans a wide range of critical HR areas, including leadership development, succession planning, diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I), performance and rewards management, organisational change management, and industrial relations. His appointment is expected to strengthen Ashok Leyland’s people strategy at a time when the automotive industry is undergoing rapid transformation.
The company has informed BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited about the change in senior management as part of its regulatory disclosures.
