Govt. Amends Code On Wages, Supervisor Wages Limit Increased To 18k

Govt of India has amended the definition of worker under Code on Wages 2019 through Notification No. S.O.( 454) E dated 30.1.26 thereby increasing wages limit of supervisor from 15,000 to 18,000 per month.

Under the Wages Code, a worker drawing RS.15,000/ per month working under supervisory capacity was excluded from worker category while under IR code this limit was defined as Rs. 18,000/ per month. Now removing this anomaly, Govt. has also amended the definition of worker under on code on wages 2019.
