Parle Biscuits Appoints Apoorva Chawla as Head of Global Talent Acquisition and HR

Parle Biscuits has announced the appointment of Apoorva Chawla as the Head of Global Talent Acquisition and Human Resources for its international business division. The appointment strengthens Parle’s leadership bench as the company accelerates its global expansion strategy across emerging and developed markets.

Confirming this development, Apoorva said in a social media post, “ “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head- Global Talent Acquisition and HR – International Business at Parle Biscuits.”

In her new role, Chawla will lead global hiring strategy, workforce planning, and HR operations for Parle’s overseas business. Her focus will be on building future-ready talent capabilities and driving organizational excellence as the company enhances its footprint in international markets.

Before this appointment, Apoorva was  associated as Director and Head of People Development and Business HR at Cohizon Life Sciences, where she led organization-wide capability-building initiatives and transformation programs. Chawla was instrumental in designing and executing HR frameworks that supported business agility and leadership effectiveness during periods of rapid growth.

With over 12 years of experience, Chawla is well-versed in talent development, organisational culture, leadership enablement, and learning strategies. Having worked across industries and companies, she strives to bring the human back into HR. Her leadership style is collaborative, compassionate, and focused on long-term transformation.

Apoorva has also worked with  Cipla, Infosys, Usha International, and Synapse Information Services.
