Cipla Limited has announced the appointment of Arun Kakatkar as the Global Chief People Officer and Senior Management Personnel of the company.
This appointment was approved by the Board of Directors at a meeting held on February 2, 2026, and will be effective from March 17, 2026.

Kakatkar is a seasoned business leader with extensive experience across various business functions, industries, and geographies. He has a proven track record of leading diverse teams in global environments and achieving transformational outcomes. His previous senior leadership roles include positions at global organisations such as Microsoft Corporation, Kalyani Group, and TE Connectivity India. Kakatkar holds an engineering background and an MBA from Pune University, with a strong passion for organisational and leadership development, fostering culture, and enabling sustainable business outcomes.
