On March 23, 2022, The Gujarat High Court in Ramsingbhai Saburbhai Patel vs. State of Gujarat C.A.no. 22629/2019 quashed the order of termination of employee and ordered reinstatement by observing that the employee was terminated solely on the ground that he was convicted for corruption without issuance him a show cause notice and without providing an opportunity to explain his case, prior to the order of termination.
