What does the term “science of employee experience” mean to you, and how is it different from traditional engagement initiatives?

AS For me, the science of employee experience is a broader aspect of professional life that defines the overall journey of an employee within an organisation. It includes how individuals are treated in the workplace, their opportunities for learning and growth alongside the organisation, and their ability to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Earlier, an organisation’s focus was primarily limited to engaging employees at work to drive productivity and contribution. Today, however, it extends far beyond the workplace. Employee experience has become a form of branding, something employees carry with them 24 x 7 x 365.
