AS One of the biggest misconceptions in business today is that a high-performing organisation is automatically an adaptive one. It isn’t. Performance reveals how well an organisation executes today; adaptability determines whether it will remain relevant tomorrow.
I often describe future-ready businesses as RELEVANT organisations. They are Responsive to changing markets, empower people to make timely decisions, believe in Learning as a competitive advantage, evolve before disruption forces them to, create long-term Value, keep Agile without losing strategic direction, are Never complacent despite success, and act with the right Timing. Adaptability is not about changing frequently. It is about changing meaningfully.
